PTK NATIONAL CAMP 2011 THE BEAT
The great event for boys and girls: The Beat, PTK´s 16th national camp.
The Beat can be felt together with old and new friends when the whole camp of 2000 participants gathers together at the big campfire, during games, competitions , swimming , music and lots more. The beating programme includes diversified activities – without forgetting that devotional life is in the heart of the beat.
Wed July 20th to Mon July 25th 2011.
The Beat takes place at PTK's campsite Partaharju, in central Finland – in a place that represents Finnish nature as its best and has a long tradition in Christian youth work.
The camp is prepared for boys and girls aged 10-14 with their leaders. We expect around 2000 participants to attend the Beat ( in Finnish "Syke") camp from Finland and all over the world.
Everything happens outdoors during the camp. The participants accomodate in tents and enjoy meals outdoors. The camp ground is divided into subcamps where the international guests live together with their Finnish host groups.
Participation fee for the Beat is 105 euros per person.
Combined to the five day Beat camp we organise an international volunteer work camp for young leaders July 16th - 27th. The volunteers (18+ yrs) assist in building the camp site and in the Beat camp itself (programme, information etc.).
YOU ARE WARMLY WELCOME TO FEEL THE BEAT WITH US!
